Choosing the Perfect Earrings

Earrings are important accessories! Have you ever considered the shape of your face when choosing the right earrings for you? Consider these guidelines:

If you have a round face (like me) you may want to avoid round hoops or other earrings with patterns consisting of circular or ball shapes. These can have the effect of making your face look even rounder. On the other hand, long slender shaped earrings can elongate the face and make it appear more angular.

Oval faces are well balanced and versatile. A person with this face shape has many options when it comes to earrings. Be bold, be creative. Likely, you can wear styles that many of the rest of us cannot!

A square, angular face with a strong jawline and sharp features can be truly stunning. A great way to accent this trait is to balance it with rounded feminine earrings, such as the ones you see here. Avoid angular styles, or ones with a length that ends at the jawline, as these can make your face seem more square than it is.

If your face is oblong (longer than it is wide) look for broad earrings that will help to make your face appear wider. Chandelier styles will be a perfect choice, but beware of any that are too long.

A heart-shaped face is wider at the forehead and cheekbones, but with a small chin. This face shape is naturally very cute and feminine. Teardrop earrings and chandeliers are a great choice, but you may also look for something with an urban or rugged feel, to balance your naturally occurring cuteness.
